ABOVE US - Graphic Novel
Project that will take several years, but I love it. Since I love the comic book artist Ales Ross, from the moment I have seen his work I realized that I can connect my passion for writing novels and drawing and fuse them into one single monolith. The other great thing is that as reference for the characters I can use people from my life: Family, friends. I had idea for this story long time ago in my head, it was supposed to be novel but it never came to life. It kept growing and be more clear. Stephen King once said that good ideas never leave your head. He was so right.
The story has many villains that are intentionally over the top like in classic comic books from the golden age. The main heroes of the story are represented by my father, me, my girlfriend and two my good friends. I had ambition here to create kind of my own universe of characters. I am planning in my next project to publish this online using Canvas element.
